The filing deadline for such offices are; February 15, 2012 at 5:00 PM for incumbents and March 1, 2012 at 5:00 PM for non-incumbents. The filing deadlines for such offices in which there is no primary election are; July 15, 2012 at 5:00 PM for incumbents and August 1, 2012 at 5:00 PM for non-incumbents. An incumbent is anyone serving in any elective office, even if they are filing for an office other than the one in which they are presently serving.
